We started with just the Brief and Quiet Audit, not sure if we needed anything more. The written brief they gave us was clear enough that we were able to hand it to our contractor directly. What surprised me was how much the light observation changed our thinking about where to position the bed. We had been assuming the obvious wall. They showed us why it was working against the morning light.

The Documentation Package was thorough. I am an engineer and I read technical documents often — the drawing set from Senari was the most usable I have seen from a design studio. My joiner had no questions. He said it was unusual to receive plans that clear. The 3D views were also accurate enough to trust, which is not always the case.

I used the Sourcing and Placement Day after completing my own documentation with another practice. The two-price-band approach was genuinely useful. I spent more on the headboard and less on the side tables than I would have done if I had been shopping alone. The placement visit on the day made a real difference — the room felt finished rather than assembled. The only thing I would flag is that lead times for some sourced items ran longer than the summary suggested.

Case Studies
Two projects, described in detail.
Case 01 — Mont Kiara
A master bedroom with storage solved in the wrong places.
The Situation
A client in Mont Kiara had recently completed a renovation. The bedroom was new and well-finished, but the storage arrangement — three large wardrobes along one wall — was creating problems. The room felt narrow. The morning light was being blocked at the point where they dressed. They had two young children and no separate dressing area.
What We Did
We began with the Brief and Quiet Audit, which confirmed that the wardrobes were positioned against the room's best light wall. We proposed redistributing the storage across two shorter sections on a secondary wall, freeing the window wall for the bed and a small seating position. The Documentation Package followed, covering joinery adjustments, a revised lighting scheme, and a soft furnishings schedule.
The Outcome
The joiner worked from the drawing set without returning to us for clarification. The project from brief to completed installation took eleven weeks. The client reported that the room felt significantly larger and that the morning routine was no longer obstructed.

Case 02 — Bangsar
A guest room that needed to function as a second bedroom.
The Situation
A couple in Bangsar had a spare bedroom that served as a guest room several times a year. Following a household change — a parent moving in — it needed to become a permanent bedroom while retaining the ability to host guests. The room was 11 square metres. There was no walk-in.
What We Did
The Brief and Quiet Audit mapped the room's storage requirements for a permanent occupant against the minimal adjustments needed for guest use. The Documentation Package produced joinery drawings for a built-in arrangement that consolidated storage on one wall, freeing enough floor space for movement without the room feeling compressed. We also addressed the lighting, which was a single ceiling fitting at the time.
The Outcome
The room was completed in eight weeks from first audit to final placement. The built-in joinery reduced visible clutter significantly. The occupant has since used the Sourcing Day to add soft furnishings in the second year.
